The Pet Food Police
Sep. 11th, 2007 10:33 amThat's what I feel like right now. Sweetie Pie wants to eat Tessa's food, Tessa wants to eat Sweetie Pie's food, Tessa still won't stay out of the dog food, and we've had to move the cat bowls onto the table to keep CC out of the cats' food.
Sweetie Pie is supposed to be eating kitten food, because she's about four months old by my guess. Tessa doesn't need kitten food; she's a year and a half old and starting to get a little pudgy, so she's supposed to be eating adult cat food. CC isn't supposed to eat cat food at all; he's supposed to eat dog food.
But do you think any of them will listen to me without my physically moving them to the right bowl? Hell no.

Date: 2007-09-11 04:58 pm (UTC)My dog eats the cat food, and then get really territorial over it (which is sorta cute coming from a 2 pound chihuahua, especially since both cats are least 3 times her size).
My other cat eats people food over cat food any day of the week. Especially chicken. When we have chicken, he gets all wide eyed and crazy like.
So I understand your ref duties well. Good luck!
