I just learned of the death of Jordan Mason, known on LJ and RS as
kileaiya. She was 20.
She always made colorful posts when someone's birthday came, and she almost always made cheerful posts about everything.
I only knew her online, but I sent her a holiday card this past holiday season; she was one of the people who exchanged addresses with me for that purpose. I will miss her posts and her cheerful attitude. May she be in a beautiful place where there is no pain and suffering, only joy.
ETA: She's the one who made my icon purple for me; the original was Barbie-box pink, which is not exactly my favorite color. I mentioned when I first used it that I wished it was purple, and voila, she made it purple for me. So even though the sentiment of the icon does not match the sentiment of this post, I'm leaving the icon (my default icon anyway) in place in memory of the one who changed it from a color I really don't like to my favorite color.

Date: 2007-09-07 06:29 pm (UTC)I'm pulling together a collection of my favorite Kileaiya moments from my conversations with her to repost on my LJ, later. I'm finding they were just about always like the one you described; she was on awesome all the time. :)
