1. The Court Jester ~ It's this old movie from the early sixties or thereabouts, and it's absolutely hilarious. Everyone should watch it.
2. Cosmos by Carl Sagan ~ The most brilliant man ever. Very interesting read.
3. I dunno what kind of music you like, so I'm skipping this question.

Three questions for you:
1. As you may or may not know, I have a four year old boy, and I know you have a teenagish daughter. What is one bit of parenting advice you can give me? Big or small.
2. What's one thing you regret? Big or small.
3. Favorite pizza topping(s)? Assuming you like pizza.

I'll have to check out the Court Jester.
I've read Contact, and I like Sagan's way of writing. I'm overdue for a Chamblin's run anyway. *grin* (Chamblin Bookmine is the local used book shop; it's fabu.)
As to music, I listen to a little bit of everything.

1.) Don't lie to your kid. You don't have to tell them everything (my daughter still doesn't know the full story of the divorce, for example), use your judgment as to how much of an answer he's ready for (depending upon the question), but don't lie. (They'll bust you anyway, 9 times out of 10.) Even "I don't know, let me find out for you" is a better answer than a lie. And, from my experience, kids respect the "I don't know, let me find out for you" (so long as you do find out and get back to them) much more than a BS answer.

2.) I regret marrying my daughter's father. I wish I'd told him to bugger off before I spent three years dealing with him.

3.) I'm a pepperoni fan, but I also like veggies, except mushrooms. Actually, of the "normal" pizza toppings, the only things I really dislike are Italian sausage (makes my tummy unhappy), mushrooms, jalapenos (which I like on nachos, but, to me, don't belong on pizza), and (yuk) anchovies.
