The Waterbearers' Tent. They did a land-office business all day. I took this basically as a test photo, but waterbearers are the real heroes of Trimarian tourneys. It's too damn hot to fight without them.

This is part of the actual tourney on Saturday. It was a two-fighter-team joust; one put on a horse-head thing over his helmet and was the "horse", and the other used a spear as a lance. It was very silly and funny. The marshal kept making a lot of silly remarks like "Don't kill your horse, m'lords."

Merchants' Row. Tomo Kato's Teahouse is center there. I just thought it looked cool, and I know the guy who runs it so I took a pic.

Another Merchants' Row pic. Dead center is Herald's Point, where you submit court cards if you have any business to conduct in court, just to the left is the Cat and Badger Tavern, Master Rurik's food stall. Yum. To the right is the "Main Tent" which had a lot of tables and chairs for various uses (classes, eating, just sitting down in the shade for a while, etc.)

The (unoccupied) Lyst Field; you can see the lake beyond, and you can kind of tell that we were about to get rained on again. Miscellaneous people in garb also included.

Domnhall, mka John Paul, with Cliff/Dink/Gajin's shoulder in the corner. Domnhall was making obscene motions at me with his tongue. He does that a lot. He's good looking, so I forgive him. *grin*

I was trying to get a pic of Jim and Andi, since I don't get to see much of them, and I caught Andi bent over looking at something. I thought I'd taken another pic of them, but apparently I still don't quite know how to operate my own camera. *LOL at self* In any case, L or R, it's Cliff/Dink/Gajin, Jim/Katagadai (sp?), Andi/Madhavi's backside, and the silk merchant whose name I don't know.

And this is not actually my pic, nor was it taken at 20th Year; someone (I think maybe Corey) took it at a Meridien event, but I'm posting it so that Andi's face can be seen. "One of these kids is not like the others..." Andi's the one on the far left, laughing instead of being silly with the rest of them.

I didn't realize the pics would look so huge on LJ. They're not that large when I open them on my computer.

I meant to take more pics. I thought I had, but, as I commented above one of the pics, I still don't quite know how to use my camera. LOL at self.

Just so you know, Andi hates that picture. I'm sure she will bitch about it when she sees it.

I think it's great, though.

I think it's a hilarious pic. I just wanted something up there with her face on it, because I didn't manage to photograph anything but her arse in the pic that I took.

I thought I'd taken another pic shortly after that, still by the silk mer5hant's tent, but it must not have captured. Dammit.
