We spent way too much money in Target on DVDs but I'm not sorry. We got "Full Metal Jacket" (which Cliff loves for the hilariously foul-mouthed drill instructor), "Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" (which is hilarious in a stupid stoner way), Season 1 of "The Tudors", which we mostly have but the DVR lost a few episodes before I recorded them to DVD, and... (drumroll and fanfare) "Firefly". I've been wanting to see the series ever since I saw the movie "Serenity" (while it was in theatres) but I never could find it.

Love it. It is made of awesome and it totally sucks monkey balls that Fox fucked the series up by running it out of order so it didn't make sense and didn't catch enough viewers to remain a viable show. Zoe is my new hero.

My sleep schedule is still FUBAR.

I'm also very bitchy today and I'm not sure why. I've taken my meds, and all that, but I'm just really cranky and grouchy. I'm trying not to bother anybody else with my bitchiness.

Kaylee is awesome too. Really, everybody on the show is great. I'd like to try the little two-bun hairstyle that Kaylee's wearing in the pilot, but I think I have too much hair. (My hair is almost long enough to sit on.)

Nicholas met Jewel Staite at a con and keeps in touch with her. He says she's a wonderful lady, very down-to-earth and just generally cool.

I think Nathan Fillion is also Canadian.

BTW, Nicholas is about to start running a Werewolf: The Apocalypse tabletop game, if you and your fair lady are interested in joining the game.

Okay. I just figured I'd let you know, since I know when we first got acquainted you were looking for gamer friends in town. :)

I'm fairly sure we could "write" a couple of new characters into the storyline at some point in the future if you wanted to join the game, so consider the offer open.
