I can't get my Zoloft.

Medicaid won't cover it, and my Medicare prescription drug coverage doesn't start until January.

See if there's a patient assistance program.

I get my Wellbutrin & lexapro for $10 a month. A lot of drug companies have forms you can fill out and as long as your doctor agrees to sponsor you you should be ok.

I've tried patient assistance programs before, and unfortunately if the drug is already generic, they won't help you out, and Zoloft is already available as a generic. Also, they have to consider Cliff's income since he's part of my household and his income plus my disability income is too high to qualify. (My doc, BTW, would be totally cool with sponsoring me onto a patient assistance program.)

As it transpired, the price on the generic Zoloft has come down since I was last on it and I was able to afford it even without the coverage.
