azdesertroseCliff didn't have to work today, so I got to sleep until I was damn well good and ready to wake up. Sleep is nice.
Cliff is out gaming, and Dixie is still in the hospital, and Nancy went to a friend's 21st birthday party so I'm all by myself. It's kind of nice to have the house to myself.
My mom's 60th birthday is in two days. She looks like she's maybe 45. I hope I hold up that well. Of course, it would help if I would color my hair to make the silver ones go away, but I have too much hair to bother with that crapola. I don't know. Maybe I'll henna my hair; that'll make the silver ones bright red.
I wish I could afford to take her out to a nice dinner but we're broke. I still owe her her Mother's Day dinner too. I hate being broke. We were going to take Mom and Bill out for Mother's Day and his 60th birthday (which was May 15th), but we didn't have the money.
