Bloody bugger sod it damn and blast.

Fucking hell.

I went to lay out the blue tunic dress for my kid, because I realized that I'd mis-cut the sleeves for it.

I thought I'd only cut the shape a little wrong, and could fix it.

I cut them wrong entirely. FAR too small. These sleeves would fit a 3-year-old's shoulder/upper arm, not a 13-year-old. It would be a 3-year-old with damn long arms though.

Fucking hell.

I'm going to have to buy about another yard, yard and a half, because I'm going to have to re-cut the sleeves entirely.

It's not like the fabric is hideously expensive; it's just kind of a pain in the arse to get to the fabric store because it's on the other end of the world from here.

And I need to go to the fabric store anyway because I need a lacing, drawstrings, and grommets to finish off her "wench" kit.

But bloody fucking hell. I can't believe I did that.

Bummer. I do that sort of thing with my art projects sometimes. It is really a big pain in the ass to run out of paper while I'm in the middle of a pli-complicated composition. Hence the cartooniness of most of my drawings - I get lazy, and it's easier to re-draw something like that.

Thanks; I'll be able to fix it. I'm just annoyed with myself for having made such a stupid mistake at all.
